1. About MCC

Markham Community Connect (MCC) is a nonprofit community organization offering programs, activities and events for children, youth, adults, seniors and families.

Program dates, times, availability, fees, venues and other details may change.

MCC will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant program changes.

3. Program Registration

Submitting an inquiry or contacting MCC does not guarantee registration.

Participation is subject to program availability, eligibility, applicable payment requirements and confirmation from MCC or its designated registration provider.

4. Registration Fees and Refunds

MCC General Refund Policy

Registration fees are non-refundable once payment is made.

Participants should confirm the schedule, location and program format before registering.

Refunds will be issued if MCC cancels the program. Otherwise, registration fees are non-refundable, except where applicable law requires otherwise or MCC has expressly approved an exception.

5. Children and Youth

Parents or legal guardians are responsible for providing accurate registration information, necessary permissions and emergency contact details where required.

Children must follow applicable program and venue rules.

6. Participant Conduct

All participants, volunteers and visitors are expected to treat others respectfully and follow reasonable safety instructions.

MCC may restrict participation where serious misconduct or safety concerns arise, subject to applicable requirements.

7. Health and Safety

MCC aims to provide safe and inclusive community programming.

Participants and families should consider whether an activity is suitable for their individual circumstances and inform MCC of any relevant accommodation or safety needs.

MCC cannot eliminate all risks associated with physical or community activities.

8. Photography and Video

MCC may photograph or record community programs and events for documentation, communication and promotional purposes.

9. Donations

Donations support MCC community programs and activities.

MCC will not represent donations as eligible for charitable tax receipts unless legally authorized to issue them.

Website materials produced by MCC, including text, designs, photographs and graphics, may not be reproduced for unauthorized commercial purposes, subject to applicable rights.
